The arrangement, in plain terms.

Access

Accounts are created by invitation. There is no public sign-up, and an invitation link is single-use and expires. Your account is yours alone: do not share the credentials, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them.

What you are responsible for

You own the résumé, cover letter and personal details you upload, and you are responsible for their accuracy. The application tailors and checks what you give it; it does not verify that your employment history is true.

Read every document before you send it. The verification gate checks that the finished PDF says what it was meant to say and that a parser can read it. It cannot judge whether the claims are ones you want to make to that employer. Applications are submitted by you, never automatically.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload anyone else’s personal data without their agreement.
• Do not use it to generate applications you know to be false.
• Do not attempt to reach other accounts’ data, or to break the service.
• Do not resell access to an instance you were invited to.

AI-generated content

Drafted text comes from a language model working from your own documents and saved answers. It is grounded deliberately — a question the source material does not support comes back empty rather than invented — but a model can still be wrong. Treat every draft as a draft.

Availability

This runs on one small server. It is offered as it is, with no guaranteed uptime, and it may be taken down for maintenance or changed without notice. Keep your own copies of anything you would mind losing.

Fees

Access is currently free. If paid tiers open, existing accounts are told before anything is charged, and nothing is charged without you agreeing to it first.

Ending it

You may stop at any time and ask for your account and data to be deleted. Access may be withdrawn for a breach of the acceptable use section above; you will be told why.

Liability

Dossier is a drafting and checking tool. It does not promise interviews, offers, or that any given applicant tracking system will parse a document the way its operator configured it. To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid — which for now is nothing.
